Obituary of Bonnie Lou Gearhart

Bonnie Lou (LaZarr) Gearhart, 79, of Glastonbury, died Tuesday Nov. 16, 2010 at home. Born February 21, 1931 in Phoenix, AZ, she had lived in Manchester before moving to Glastonbury 12 years ago. Bonnie was a graduate of Arizona State and was a teacher in Arizona. She was an actress, an artist, a musician and a dancer. Bonnie loved the beach, reading, golfing and her family. She had worked for Pratt & Whitney, Cantone's in Manchester, Minnechaug Golf Course and the Hartford Jai Alai. She is survived and will be greatly missed by her two children and their spouses, Jill and Kevin Keane of New Hartford, John Jr. and Cheryl Gearhart of Willington, four grandchildren Joseph, Sara and husband Beau, Julia and husband David, and Allison; her former husband John F. Gearhart, Sr. of Cypress, CA. and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two brothers Gerald Adair Stevenson and Hilton K. LaZarr. Friends may call at the Mulryan Funeral Home, 725 Hebron Ave., Glastonbury on Saturday Nov. 20, from 1:00 to 3:00pm.
