Obituary of Joseph G. Tokarski

Joseph G. Tokarski, 68, of Glastonbury, beloved husband of Linda Tokarski, died, Sunday July 18, 2016 in Scituate, MA. He was born in Bridgeport on January 24, 1948, to the late John Thomas and Josephine (Stachnick) Tokarski. After serving in the Army he worked as a Mechanical Engineer. Besides his wife, Linda, Joseph is survived by his son, Brian Tokarski and his wife, Amanda, and his grandson Ethan, all of West Greenwich, RI. He is also survived by his brother, Paul Tokarski and his wife Agnes “Penny”, his nephews: David and his wife Megan, Joseph and his wife Cheryl, Mark and his wife Kathy, and Justin, as well as his sister-in-law Lorraine Conway and her husband Michael. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday July 26, 2016 at 10a.m. in Rocky Hill Congregational Church, 805 Old Main St., Rocky Hill. Military honors will follow in the memorial garden. Calling hours will be held on Monday, July 25, 2016 from 5p.m. to 7p.m. in the Mulryan Funeral Home, 725 Hebron Ave., Glastonbury.
