Obituary of Lottie Rand Clemens

Lottie E. (Rand) Clemens, 80, of South Glastonbury, wife of the late Joseph W. Clemens, Sr., died Friday November 25, 2016 at Middlesex Hospital. Born November 17, 1936 in Lyme, daughter of the late Joseph and Lottie (Hayes) Rand, she had lived in Glastonbury since 1956. Lottie is an adored Mother, Grandmother, Sister, Aunt and friend to everyone whom she met. Lottie is survived by her 3 children and their spouses, Joseph W., Jr. and Karen Clemens of Marlborough, Lori and Filmore Davis of Glastonbury, Robin and Marc Zimmerman of Newington. Lottie has 8 grandchildren all who love her dearly, Amanda Davis and her fiancé Chris Bisi, Courtny Davis and her boyfriend Guy Gagnon, Alicia, Joseph, Brenda, and Brian Clemens, Jeffrey and Lily Zimmerman. In addition to her beloved grandchildren, she leaves behind her furry companion, Riley. She also leaves 2 brothers, Nelson Rand and Russell Rand and a sister Daphne Babcock all of Old Lyme. She was predeceased by a brother and 3 sisters, Joseph Rand, Jr., Florence Carlson, Gertrude Rutty and Susan Suits. Funeral service will be Wednesday Nov. 30 at 11am in the Mulryan Funeral Home, 725 Hebron Ave., Glastonbury. Burial will follow in Old Church Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Wednesday morning from 10:00 to 11:00am.
