Obituary of Patricia M. Kepler

Patricia (McCauley) Kepler, 84, the beloved wife of the late George A. Kepler, died January 4, 2018 peacefully at home.  Born in Putnam, CT on September 17, 1933, she was the daughter of the late Richard H. and Gertrude (Francke) McCauley. She had been a long time resident of Glastonbury, Connecticut.  She attended Connecticut College and Hartford College for Women.  Pat was a retired employee of the Town of Glastonbury, Probate Court. She was the first woman president of the Connecticut Marketing Authority.  She was a member and Eucharistic Minister at the Church of St. Dunstan in Glastonbury, as well as a member of the Glastonbury Piecemakers, Heart of the Valley Quilters and the Greater Hartford Quilt Guild.  She is survived by two loving daughters and their husbands, Alison and Michael Cole of Bolton and Amy and John Klein of Avon; two beloved granddaughters, Shannon Cole and Mari Klein; her sister, Mary Young of South Windsor; her brother-in-law, Edward Kepler and his wife Ellie of Manchester; and many nieces, nephews and friends.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, January 11, 2018 at 10:00 am at St. Dunstan Church, 1345 Manchester Rd., Glastonbury.  Burial will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery, Glastonbury. Friends may call at the Mulryan Funeral Home, 725 Hebron Ave., Glastonbury on Wednesday, January 10, 2018 from 4:00-6:00 pm.
