Posts to the tribute of James H. Lloyd, III

My name is Walt Owen. Jim and I were roommates at Peddie our junior year, 1959 - 1960. Today I learned of and was saddened by the news in the Peddie Chronicle of Jim's passing. Jim was a great roommate and good friend during our two years at Peddie. Although we never saw one another after graduation, I thought often of the good times we spent together. My sincere condolences to Jim's family.

Jim Lloyd was the consummate gentleman, one of the finest lawyers to ever practice in Connecticut, and just a down-right good person. We all know how much Jim loved his family, the practice of law - and his Shepherds. I am grateful to have had the privilege to work with Jim at UKS for a good many years. My sincere condolences to Blakes, Meredith and Will, and all the Lloyd family. Tom Gugliotti

We have been friends with Jim and Blakes for fifty one years. As we were raising our children, neither of us had family close by, so our relationship became family. We loved and respected this fine man beyond measure. We are grateful and will cherish our memories. Judy and Dennis Carrithers
