Upon being introduced into this family some 8 plus years ago ,Sandy always made myself and my family feel welcomed and loved .She treated us as her own .She showed my grandchildren so much love. .Weather it was a Monday diner ,a holiday or just a visit up from Florida, She always brought gifts and smiles. I will always cherish those moments .
Jeanette, I was saddened to read about your mom's passing yesterday. I lost my mom in 1995 and understand the hole that leaves in your heart that diminishes in time but never fully goes away. My sincere condolences to you and your family.
Sandy was A huge influence to all of us growing up. From our family vacations to the famous 4th of July picnics on Griswold St. She always lit up the room with a comment from her sparky petite personality.
She will be missed but never forgoten.
