Fred was always a welcome face anytime we were able to spend time with him. I worked with him for many years and he was always very meticulous and thorough in everything that he did. We talked many times of doing some fishing together but, somehow, time always managed to get away from us. He will always be remembered with good thoughts..

I am very sorry for your loss of Fred. We both got employed at MCI at the same time . Fred was my Boss, we had tons of fun working under stress . Fred helped me get my ham radio license ( Kc1kkd ) and we would talk all day long going up and down the Merritt parkway . We got our annual review and a raise from our manager in a strip joint in east haven CT.. When we worked up in Mass we liked to visit the Magic lantern Strip joint in Palmer .. We had a blast until the bean counters took over . I moved on to Verizon wireless in Boston but kept in touch with Fred. I transferred to Portland Maine to work the cellular towers in Maine . We would talk many nights on the phone when I got home . I retired in Conway NH and got sick of shoveling snow .. I tried to get Fred out of the woods but he loved it .. I took off to Myrtle Beach and we lost contact .
Fred was the nicest kind hearted person I have ever met . We had so much fun in MCI ..
I am so sorry Fred is gone.

So sad for your loss. I loved Fred, he made my life, both at work and after work enjoyable. I moved to Charlton in 1985 from NJ. Working with MCI. I saw him daily until he moved to Maine, which was very sad having such a close friend & mentor moving away. I saw him last in Hebron, CT IN 2023. I miss him deeply.
Rest in Peace my good friend

We will miss Uncle Freddie. Every opening day of fishing, visit, and long phone conversation will forever be treasured. So sad that you are no longer with us, but there is comfort in knowing that you are in Heaven. Love, Mark and Cyndy.
