Obituary of Sue Inman
Mary Suzan “Sue” Malloy Inman was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She ascended to be with her husband in heaven on February 14, 2025.
The youngest child of Leo and Frances Malloy from Cincinnati, OH, she loved school, family gatherings, tap dancing, spending time with her big brother and being an Auntie. While working as a secretary at General Electric in Evandale, OH, Sue met and married the love of her life, Richard Inman. They were married for over 64 years. Together, they moved East and eventually settled in Glastonbury, Ct where they made their home and raised their two children: Melissa and Rob.
In addition to raising her family, Sue volunteered with The Village for Family and Children, worked as a secretary at a local church, and was active as a hockey mom. She also enjoyed planning get togethers, playing bridge, traveling, engaging with her PEO group, reading and cheering on the UConn Huskies basketball teams.
Sue treasured her family and friends and was especially proud of her grandchildren Brendan, Kelly, Rachel and Katherine. Sue was the consummate hostess always ready to spoil her guests with lively conversation and delicacies. "Mimi's" home was full of light, laughter and love -a reflection of the beautiful woman she was. As a devout Christian, Sue felt great joy and peace after recently returning to worship at the Catholic Church.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, February 22, 2025 at 10:00 am at SS. Isidore and Maria Parish in St. Paul Church, 2577 Main St., Glastonbury. Friends may call on Saturday, February 22, 2025 from 9:00 am to 10:00 am at the Church. Burial will be in Green Cemetery.
