Obituary of Mary Viola

Mary Viola, of Marlborough, CT, passed away on,  Tuesday, February 25, 2025, after a long battle with dementia. She was 101. Mary was born in Ambler, Pennsylvania on February 20, 1924, the daughter of Antonio and Antoinette Lazzaro, she moved to Stamford, CT as a young child. She was the owner of a coffee shop and the manager of an apartment building. Mary is survived by a son, Paul Szabo, and his wife Sharon, of Stratford, CT, a daughter Gail Bantle, and her husband Jeff, of Glastonbury. Mary is also survived by two grandchildren, Christopher Szabo of Phoenix, AZ and Kim Senerchia, and her husband Mark, of Stamford, CT.  She also has four great-grandchildren. Austin Senerchia of Utah, Nicole Senerchia of Stamford, CT,  Kyra and Connor Szabo, both of NY. Mary was predeceased by her husbands William Szabo, Morris Saboloff and Frank Viola in addition to her brother Augie Lazzaro, and her sisters, Tommy Lazzaro and Sue Mollo. There will be no calling hours. Services will be private. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association www.alz.org.
