Dr. DeFusco was my doctor and delivered all 3 of my children. I remember him as a patient and compassionate man who had a great sense of humor. This was most evident when my 2 year old was unable to say his name and referred to him as Dr DeF***o. He quickly told her she could call him Lenny! We got a good laugh out of that one. He was so great with the kids and always had a funny comment about parenting. He was such a wonderful doctor and had so much patience with me as a new mom and was so supportive during my first pregnancy which resulted in a miscarriage. My thoughts and prayers are with his family during this difficult time. He will be greatly missed.

Too many wonderful memories to mention here, but the holiday season always comes to mind, sharing our family traditions with the entire DeFusco family, and helping to decorate the family Christmas tree in our own way - tossing garland instead of "gently draping" as directed.
May the memory of Dr. DeFusco remain as a blessing.

I was so very saddened to learn of Dr. DeFusco’s passing.
I was fortunate to have had him as my OBGYN when I was first married and moved to CT in 1978. He delivered my three children. I remember him as always been so warm, compassionate and supportive.
I could not have asked for a better medical professional to get me through my pregnancies.
I shall keep him and your family in my prayers. He will always be apart of the memories I hold, dear in my heart. God bless him.
