Obituary of Richard E. Turcotte, Jr.

Richard E. Turcotte, Jr., 88, of Glastonbury, beloved husband of Cheryl (Freeman) Turcotte, passed away on his birthday, Friday, May 9, 2025 at home. He was born on May 9, 1937 to the late Richard E. and Ellen (Hansen) Turcotte, Sr. in Hartford. Richard loved hanging out at Highland Bowl in Cheshire and was an avid fan of both the Dallas Cowboys and the Boston Red Sox. Besides his wife, Cheryl, he is survived by his sons, Richard Turcotte and his partner Amanda Savicki, of East Hartford, and Todd Turcotte, and his wife Tracy Luca, of Meriden. He also leaves behind his grandchildren whom he adored, Douglas, Lenora, Ty, Corey, and Audrey,  and his beloved yellow lab, Othello. Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
