Obituary of George A. Butron

George A, Butron 76, of Simsbury passed away on Monday May 26, 2025 in Farmington, CT. He was the beloved husband of the late Carol Butron.

Born in New York, NY, George grew up in Hoboken, New Jersey, and was the son of the late Juanita Cruz. Surviving are his children Linnea Butron, Marcus Butron, and his grandchildren whom he loved dearly. Leaving behind his brothers, Peter and Jack Legierse of New Jersey. Niece Chelsea and Nephew Peter Legierse and many friends in Hoboken whom he shared everlasting memories with.

George attended and graduated Hoboken High School class of 1967. He was known to many as a very talented guitarist and a musical legend that played in many bands over the years with a deep love and passion for music.
