Obituary of Mariana Cioloca-Filimon

Mariana Cioloca Filimon, age 76, of Manchester, Connecticut passed away peacefully at her home on May 27, 2025.  Mariana was born on August 26, 1948 in Bucharest, Romania to Dumitru and Maria Ariciuc. She immigrated to the United States in the late 80’s and took great pride in becoming an American citizen. Mariana leaves behind her son Alexander Filimon and his love Nydia Melendez-Rios, daughter Andreea Cioloca, and her sister Doina Wolff and her family in Germany.  Mariana’s family would like to personally thank Alex’s Godmother Alexandrina Radulescu, her sister by heart Stella Steluta and Inteleptul for their love and support during this difficult journey.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 31, 2025 at 10:00 am at Holy Cross Cemetery, 17 Wickham Road, Glastonbury. Burial will follow. Friends may call on Friday, May 30, 2025 from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm at Mulryan Funeral Home, 725 Hebron Ave., Glastonbury.
