Dear Matthew,
I didn’t have the pleasure of knowing your father, but I’m sure he was a remarkable person. Wishing you and other members of the Conboy family peace and comfort during this difficult time. Please accept my deepest sympathies and heartfelt condolences for your loss.

Sending condolences to the family and friends of Bob Conboy. Like many colleagues in state government, I had the pleasure of knowing Bob as one of the nicest people around and someone who always made the workday better. Rest in peace, Bob.

I've had the pleasure of knowing Bob for many decades. My favorite memory is when Bob was over Charlie's house when Rachael was a toddler. Carol was in the hospital fighting her battle with cancer. Bob had all the kids, feeding them, and diaper bag and all. He was very busy getting everyone out he door. I said to him "how do you do it?" His reply was "what doesn't kill you makes you stronger". He lived up to that. Just one of many things I could say.

Please accept our deepest sympathies over the passing of Bob. We have had the privilege of enjoying so many years of memories with the Conboy family from Rachel and Liz when they were babies through all the years of all our kids from grammar school through various activities, sports, college, marriages and grandchildren. I think back on the many get togethers and especially those New Years Eve parties we all enjoyed so much. Throughout it all Bob always made us feel special. He would have stories and jokes and a great smile for everyone. He has been taken from us but leaves behind his friends and forever loving and devoted family who will miss him desperately. Love, Carol and Ed Ruel

“Share a memory of Bob” - not an easy task, there are so many. All good, and most funny. I think we were best friends before we even met / worked together in 1991. Bob always had a daily joke. Some were maybe too risqué for work, jokes that only Bob could get away with. He was always talking about his kids. I only met each of them a few times but know them better than I know my own :)
Bob will be forever in my heart. My love goes out to Jennifer, Matt and Rachel

Good times with Bob, my cousin, when visiting Elmira. In recent years our contacts were by email and phone calls. He'll be missed. Condolences to the family.
