Obituary of Stefano Antonio Sacco

Stefano ‘Steve’ Sacco passed away Friday, June 6, 2025 at the State Veterans Home in Rocky Hill, CT in the company of his fellow Veterans who proudly served The United States of America with honor. Born in Nicastro, Provence of Catanzaro, Calabria, Italy on July 8, 1932, he was the son of the late Antonio Sacco and Concetta (Gualtieri) Sacco. He is predeceased by his wife Anna Maria (Fuoli) Sacco, brothers Petronilla ‘Pete’ Sacco and Rosario ‘Russell’ Sacco, and sister Philomena ‘Phyllis’ (Sacco) DeMartino. Stefano will be missed by his family and friends.  Visiting Hours will be Thursday, June 19th, 5:00 – 7:00pm at Mulryan Funeral Home, 725 Hebron Ave., Glastonbury. A committal service will be held Friday, June 20th, 1:00pm at Holy Cross Cemetery, Glastonbury, with mausoleum entombment next to his beloved wife, Anna Maria.
