Obituary of Crisostomo C. Ureta

Crisostomo C. Ureta, 94, of Glastonbury passed away unexpectedly at home on Thursday, August 21, 2025. He was the beloved husband of Hilda (Garces) Ureta.

Born in the Philippines, he was the son of the late Honorato and Prima (Cordova) Ureta. Crisostomo was an Auditor in the Insurance industry for many years. Cris loved his family tremendously and was willing to do for them whatever was needed.  His generosity to his friends and family was abundant.  Cris enjoyed playing golf and tennis during his free time.  He traveled many times to visit family and friends as well as traveling to Europe.  Cris knew how blessed he was to have wonderful friends and family, and would want everyone to remember how much he loved them. 

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his son Edward and daughter-in-law Jennifer Ureta of Glastonbury, his grandchildren Zachary and Isabelle Ureta. Crisostomo was predeceased by his brother Ramon Ureta and his sister Jovita (Betty) Ureta Victoriano.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, August 27, 2025 at 11:00 am at SS. Isidore and Maria Parish in St. Paul Church, 2577 Main St., Glastonbury. Entombment will be in Holy Cross Cemetery.
