We are so sorry and love Daria so much. She was always so energetic and so easy to talk to. She had the best style and love for things that were fun. We will miss all the family gatherings and hearing different stories. Love Carl & Michele ❤️

Daria was a great aunt. I loved having conversations with her, she had a great sense of humor. Daria always had a great sense of style and knew what was cool or the upcoming trend. She had the best taste in music which we both shared our love for Il Volo. Shortly after having my daughter Isabella; Daria, Eva, Jonathan, Andy and James came over with lasagna, pizza and salad. It was so kind and sweet. The boys helped my son Marcelo adjust to becoming a big brother by laughing and playing together. It was so nice talking with Daria and Eva about the different aspects of motherhood during the visit and hearing Daria's wisdom. This is a memory I will always cherish. RIP Aunt Daria you will be missed. Love, Rachel, Jay, Marcelo and Isabella

Jim and I started a routine of bring Daria a bacon and cheese croissant with a coffee in the summertime on a weekend morning. Daria looked forward to our visit, we’d talk about all kinds of things, her adult children, Grandchildren, show pictures back and forth, Jim would take her garbage out, and we just spent time talking!

I am very sorry to hear of Daria's passing. I worked with her a very long time ago when we worked for the Y, caring for children in an after school program. My husband, Art Leichner and Andy Doll were boy scout leaders and managed a troop of boys together. As years progressed we lost touch as our careers took different turns. I am glad to hear she had a good life. I am happy she has joined Andy in heaven and is no longer suffering. I send my sincere condolences to her family and friends.

It was in 1979, that we got a call to come over to the Dolls home. There was a baby shower that Andy and Daria planned out for us. They had bought us a bassinet, which was used for all three of our babies, then passed down in the family. We named our first born son, Andrew Joseph Diamond, after Andy., and We were blessed to have Daria and Andy Doll as our son, Andy, GodParents. Daria guided me through my pregnancy, even telling me that I needed to go to the hospital, when I didn’t know I was in active labor, about to deliver.
Daria loved talking about children, she spent many hours taping (onto VHS cassettes), the muppets show and Sesame Street shows for me, so I could use them when needed.
Daria’s love of the color purple, swans, and collecting vaces, lamps, tables and more… made me smile.
We once took a big shopping trip to Hartford,CT, downtown. We went to G.Fox, Sage Allens and other beautifully decorated places, to BUY OUT certain ornaments, and gifts. We shopped until we couldn’t carry another bag, and that was even with the stroller to help us load bags into!
When Jim and I got married, Andy, Daria and their daughter, Eva were there, to share Jim and my special day. Many birthday parties and special events have been celebrated together.
Daria and Andy will be extremely missed, they already are! Love, Jim and Susan Diamond
