Obituary of Roberto Ruiz, Sr.

Roberto Ruiz Sr., 79, was born on September 18, 1946 in Havana, Cuba, and passed away peacefully, surrounded by love, leaving this world to enter eternal rest. A devoted father, grandfather, and family man, Roberto lived a life grounded in faith, perseverance, and unconditional love.

Roberto’s journey was one guided by courage and purpose. From Cuba to Peru, and eventually to Connecticut, he built a life rooted in hard work, humility, and devotion to family. He was a proud and loving father to his only son, Roberto Ruiz Jr., whose passing he carried in his heart with quiet strength and enduring faith.

Roberto dedicated many years of his life working as a Maintenance Supervisor in the property management industry, where he was respected for his integrity, reliability, and strong work ethic. Known as a man who provided, protected, and loved deeply, his greatest joy was always his family.

He is survived by his daughter-in-law, Angelica Ruiz of Manchester; his cherished granddaughters Angie Ruiz, husband Alfredo Olivier, and their children Julian, Jacob, and Eliana Olivier; and Katherine Ruiz, husband Ariel Rivera, and their children Kariely and Mateo Rivera. His legacy continues through them and the love he poured into each generation.

Roberto passed away surrounded by love after a courageous illness. Though his absence is deeply felt, his family finds peace in knowing he has been called home and is now reunited in heaven with his beloved son, Roberto Ruiz Jr. His spirit lives on in the faith he carried, the family he cherished, and the love that will forever remain in their hearts.
