Obituary of Frances Ann Rella Chevrette Geary

Frances Ann Rella Chevrette Geary, known as Nonnie to many was born on January 26, 1944 to Edward and Madelyn Durse Rella and grew up in Oriskany, NY.

She worked at Trinkaus Manor throughout High School. After High School she worked as a secretary and in 1962 she met Joseph Chevrette, they married in 1964. Together they made their home in Utica, NY where they raised their 3 children. The family was very active in the church and school community.

In 1979 she fulfilled her lifelong dream of becoming a Nurse. She retired from Rocky Hill Veteran’s Home & Hospital in 2001.

After being a widow for 5 years she met Richard Geary and married in 2018.

Frances enjoyed her life to the fullest. From traveling abroad as well as within the states. She enjoyed gardening, yardwork, dinner dates and her family most of all. She made the best homemade Carrot Cake, Pistachio Cake and Icebox Cake. She only had one speed-full throttle!
