Obituary of Arlene L. Avallone

Arlene L. Avallone, 92, of Glastonbury, beloved wife of the late Alphonse F. Avallone, passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 12, 2026 at Marlborough Health and Rehabilitation. She was born on August 4, 1933 to Harold J. and Betty (Shifren) LeRoy in New York, NY.  Arlene worked as a medical secretary in Glastonbury for many years, while also taking great pride in keeping a nice home. She was a great mom and grandmother, and very social even at 92. She enjoyed gardening as well as feeding and watching birds.  Arlene is survived by her son Richard T. Avallone (Cynthia Riedel) of Hawaii, her daughter, Bonnie J. Avallone (Imre Kiss) of Glastonbury, her grandchildren Sarah Matuza (Ryan) of Mass., Emma Violette (Damek) of Glastonbury, her great grandchildren, Ethan and Owen, and her brother-in-law John D. Avallone, of Amston. A memorial celebration will be held at a later date.
