Obituary of Carol S. Hoffman
Carol S. Hoffman, 92, of South Glastonbury passed away on March 7, 2026. Born in Hartford to the late Louis and Mildred Jepsen Strong on July 3, 1933, she was raised in East Hartford and graduated EHHS class of 1951. She met and married her high school sweetheart, Raymond P. Hoffman in 1953.
Carol enjoyed gardening, baking, cooking, arts and crafts and redecorating her home. She also loved bingo and the casino.
She was the beloved mother to two sons and daughters in law, Raymond and Kathy Hoffman of Amston, and John and Deb Hoffman of Coventry, and two daughters and sons in law. Kristine and Greg Pike of Amston and Ellen and Ed Wilson of Glastonbury. She was Nana to 10 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. She also leaves her brother Peter Strong of Glastonbury and sisters in law Nora Strong, Ruby Passon and Carol Mitchell, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she is now reunited with her husband Ray, her granddaughter Rebecca, her brother Warren and her sisters Lois and Butchie.
A graveside service will be held on May 9, 2026, at 11:00 am at Neipsic Cemetery, 1341 Neipsic Rd, Glastonbury for both Ray and Carol. For online condolences please visit www.mulryanfh.com.
