Obituary of William J. Jacomini, Jr.
William "Billy" J. Jacomini, Jr., 83 of Wethersfield passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, March 24, 2026. He was the beloved husband of Jill Duboff-Jacomini.
Born in Hartford, William was the son of the late William J. Jacomini, Sr. and Grace (Poggi) Jacomini. He was a self-employed entrepreneur owning many businesses throughout his career.
In addition to his wife, William is survived by his son Chase, brother Alan, sister-in-law Barilyn, nieces Valorie, Angela, Lynne, and Bonnie.
A veteran, Billy served in the United States Army in The Old Guard and at The Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, Arlington Cemetery, and Presidential Honor Guard.
He was a dedicated animal lover who found his greatest pleasure enjoying his backyard where he spent countless hours watching his dogs, cats, and the koi fish in his pond which he was very proud. He was also an avid baseball fan with a love-hate relationship with The Red Sox and one, if not the biggest, fans of UConn Women's basketball.
A celebration of his life will be held at a later date. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
