Obituary of Marie Loscalzo

Marie (Taddei) Loscalzo, age 106, formerly of Glastonbury, CT, beloved wife of 73 years of the late Rocco A. Loscalzo, died on Wednesday, April 1 at Brighton Gardens of Saddle River, NJ. She was born in Castelmezzano, Province of Potenza, Italy, daughter of the late Franceso A. & Antonia Taddei. 

She came to this country at age nine and resided in Glastonbury for most of her life. She had been a member of St. Paul Church and a Charter Member of the League of the Sacred Heart. She leaves her beloved children Frank R. Loscalzo and his wife, Carol, of Park Ridge, NJ, Nancy A. Darr of Murrels Inlet, SC, and James R. Loscalzo and his wife, Deb MacLean, of Calabash, NC. She also leaves her loving grandchildren Thomas R. Darr and his wife Liz, Karen B. Loscalzo and her husband Peter Capozucca, Robert F. Loscalzo and his wife Stacey, Steven J. Loscalzo and great-grandchildren Ryan & Jason Capozucca, and Caroline & Katherine Loscalzo, and several nieces and nephews.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, April 7, 2026, at 10:00 am at SS. Isidore & Maria Parish in St. Paul Church, 2577 Main St., Glastonbury.  Burial will be in St. Augustine Cemetery, South Glastonbury. Calling hours will be held on Monday, April 6, 2026, from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm at Mulryan Funeral Home, 725 Hebron Ave., Glastonbury.
