My sincere condolences to the Martins Family.
I knew Fernando for over 45 years, he was my Tailer for many years. An incredible human being, a great friend.
Fernando will sure be missed not only by family but all those he touched through out his life.
So long.

To the family and friends of Mr. Fernando L. Martins, Jr. Please allow me to express my sympathies and words of encouragement to all who loved him. Our Creator promises that there will be a time when “sickness and death” will be eliminated (Revelation 21:3, 4). In fact, He promises that a resurrection will happen, just as when Jesus’ friend Lazarus died but was brought back to life. (Acts 24:15; John 11:11-14, 38-45). We can see our loved ones again. May this beautiful promise bring you peace.
Respectfully,
Kathy Howard

Fred was an amazing person. I met Fred many years ago when our sons (Fernando and Cody) played little league baseball , then travel ball, then High School Ball together. As our sons moved on into the college world we didn’t see each other that much and kind of went our own ways. That being said, the most special thing about Fred is that since we met, he never missed a holiday without sending our family a holiday wish. My last holiday message was just 2 short weeks ago on Easter Sunday. Fernando your father was a special man!!! Fred may you rest in peace my friend God Bless

I worked for Fred at AVE starting around ‘86 in late high school and early college summers. He was a great role model- hard working, motivated, fair, honest, and kind. I remember the deep love he had for his parents and his friends when they came in. He treated his employees and customers well- with respect and integrity …Just don’t leave your VHS tapes on the dashboard in the sun…And always rewind…

Fred and I met when we were just 21, and in all the years since, I never met anyone who gave more of themselves. He had a way of looking at the world with pure kindness, always putting others before himself. To have known him for so long was a gift, and I will miss his generous spirit every single day.
I will see him again.

Fred was a close friend, a dear and compassionate human being, and had a generosity of kindness and warmth to all who knew him. After my divorce, I met Fred, and he introduced me to his friends and associates to help ease my pain and discomfort. I'll never forget how he went out of his way to make my life easier at a time I needed it and Fred did so effortlessly and with great generosity. I'll miss him dearly. Rest in peace my friend.
