I feel in love with Phyllis the first time I met her. I always wanted to be a Grandmother like her. I believe her entire family are truly blessed to have had her in their lives and I know Phyllis will never be forgotten.

Phyllis is loved beyond words and missed beyond measure. She is an incredible lady. Her passion, love, strength and unconditional love we will all hold dearly in our hearts. Aunt Phyllis was the sweetest woman I ever knew. There was a special aura about her - her beauty, her quiet voice, her relative youth, being only 12+ years older than I and even closer in age to sister Ginni. Whether it was a summer week at the beach, a Sunday visit to her house (especially when Mumsy and Pop-Pop were in town), or when Mom entrusted her to babysit for Ginni and me for a few days - it was always magical. I'll love her forever.

Phyllis was one of the kindest souls I have ever met. She and Pete were my dad’s (Larry Pickett) best friends, and he loved going to their house on Thursday nights to play cards. She will be truly missed. Phyllis, I wish you a peaceful journey and will keep you in my prayers. You will be deeply missed by all who knew you.
