My husband and I were members of St. Mary's in Baltic, CT. Barbara was a friend of Father Tito, and as a special favor to him, she restored a statue of St. Joseph that was in disrepair, with his head broken off. We deliver St. Joseph to Barbara, and picked him up when she was done with the restoration. I could hardly believe how beautifully she restored him. Whenever I looked at that statue in the church, I thought of Barbara, as well as St. Joseph. She brought such joy to people through her art. I send our condolences to her family. What a legacy she leaves, as she begins her afterlife in heaven.

My sincere condolences to George and family. I remember fondly working with Barbara throughout our senior year at Bulkeley, planning and organizing senior activities: senior dinner, senior prom and Senior Night where we were on stage doing our little routine. I was unaware of her accomplishments after high school. The obituary painted a picture of a very full, active and happy life.

Dr. Mr. V., Tyler, Tracy, and Jil. I know I am speaking for my entire family when I say how very sorry we are to hear about the passing of Barbara. She was always so creative and kind…. And taught me how to make edible ice cream cups out of chocolate, which are just the best! Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you.
