Obituary of Charlotte O. Genga

Charlotte S. Genga, 87, of Glastonbury, Connecticut, passed away peacefully on July 1, 2026.

Born in Columbia, Connecticut, Charlotte lived a life filled with love, kindness, and devotion to her family. She was a cherished mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend whose warmth and generosity touched the lives of all who knew her.

Charlotte dedicated many years of her life to working as a preschool teacher, where she nurtured and inspired young children with patience, compassion, and a genuine love of learning. Her caring nature extended far beyond the classroom and was evident in every relationship she built throughout her life.

She found joy in golfing, playing tennis, and spending time at the beach. Charlotte treasured family gatherings, celebrating milestones, and creating lasting memories with those she loved most.

Charlotte was predeceased by her beloved husband, Dino T. Genga. She is survived by her loving children, Vanessa Genga, Todd Genga, and Jason Genga; her cherished grandchildren, Cheyenne Genga, Chambrielle Genga, Justin Genga, and Nicole Genga; and her treasured great-granddaughter, Chloe Genga.

Charlotte will be remembered for her gentle spirit, unwavering love for her family, and the kindness she shared with everyone she met. Her legacy will continue to live on in the hearts of those who were blessed to know and love her.
