Obituary of Carl Joseph Thiesfield

Carl Joseph Thiesfield, 70, of Newington, CT died at home on July 24th. Born June 26, 1956, in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, son of the late Carl Sr. and Rachel Thiesfield. He was retired from State of Connecticut employment, where he had several administrative roles. He graduated from Bay Shore High School in Long Island before attending Howard University where he graduated with a major in Communications. Before his illness prevented him from doing so, he loved riding his bike everywhere, enjoyed outdoor activities and especially attending Jazz concerts in the park.
He is survived by siblings H. Robert Thiesfield (Basia), Carolle Andrews, Nancy Robinson (Richard), Rae Vann (Roger), Lisa Thiesfield (Joe, Mireille Dormena & Harry Thiesfield; Nieces & Nephews,  Talia Thiesfield, Jonathan Robinson, Julien Thiesfield (Katherine), Chad Vann, Troy Vann & Rachelle Vann; Aunts, Uncles & Cousins in New York, Connecticut, Georgia, Montreal, Mexico City and Haiti. He was predeceased by his brother, Stanley Thiesfield and sister, Evelyn Thiesfield Garcia.
