Scott was a part of my friend group when I worked at Private Healthcare Systems and I heard the news from a mutual friend. I was very sorry to hear of his passing. Scott will always be remembered as a genuine man of integrity and friendship.

So so sorry to hear of Scott's passing. He was a long-time member and volunteer with SNEC-PMI, and I also had the pleasure of working with him at Open Solutions. Such a genuinely good guy, dedicated, smart, friendly, respectful, and inspiring. I miss him already. My condolences to the family.

Very sorry to hear of Scott's passing. We worked at Pitney Bowes together, both Project Managers trying to herd cats.

I'm still processing the news, and I wanted to share how much Scott meant to me. We met during a hard stretch — both of us job searching — and somehow every conversation with him left me feeling lighter and more hopeful than before. In person or on a call, he had this way of reminding me that things would work out, even when it didn't feel like it. Over these past nine months he went from someone I met through circumstance to a real friend, and I'm going to miss him more than I can say. My thoughts are with everyone who loved him.

As I said on LinkedIn, Scott and I had become very close over the last year. Our professional backgrounds overlapped significantly. I appreciated the fact that Scott helped me, even when he was in a position to need more help than I did. He will be deeply missed, but I have no doubt where his soul is currently resting. My wife, Annie, and I send our condolences to the entire Sawyer family, both immediate and extended. I'm grateful that I had a chance to meet and share in Scott's life. Rest in peace, my friend, we'll finish the project from here.

I knew Scott (and his son Riley) from Connecticut Fly Fishing Association meetings. He was always good to talk to and I remember him watching with pride as Riley caught trout during the annual Salmon River meeting when nobody else was. I’ll miss our conversations.

My friend Scott's passing weighs heavily on my heart. I found Scott to be a gentle and wise soul, full of compassion and love. I guess God needed another angel in heaven, but the void he leaves on Earth will be hard to fill. Peace to his friends and family.

I am so sorry for your loss. Scott was a wonderful man. I knew him well through several professional organizations and networking groups and considered him a friend. Dear Scotland and family,
You were far too young to go on that final trip. I remember taking father's truck out with you guys in the cab when I was sent up to Mexico in the summers and flooring going up and down the hills with you all screaming in the back. You one of the kool ones that made the summer not so bad.... loved playing pool and using the pool.... I will miss the memories, that I still have...
