Dear Sandy, Scott and Romaniw Family,
Our deepest sympathies are with you today. How very difficult it is to say goodbye to a much loved family head. We never met Stephen, but in just viewing your pictures, we can tell that he was a happy, loving and much respected family man. May your fondest memories of him bring you through this sad time and then, one day you can look back with remembering and laughter. Endeared member of our family. We know he stayed with us as long as he
Could enduring the thief of memories and minds - Alzheimer’s Disease.
He never failed to support all our efforts during his life. I loved to hear him
Laugh at the slightest provocation. I watched him express his love in all
The kind deeds he did for others. He was a model protector and hunter for
His family and quite a cook especially his baked cod.
One morning, during one of my visits, I found him in the kitchen with a cup of
Coffee and two buttered rice cakes. As he headed upstairs, I asked “Whose
That for”. “Patty, he said. We play odd-evens to see who makes coffee for
The other, and I Lost”. “How often do you win”, I asked. “Not too much”, he
Answered.
That’s the kind of man he was, good husband, good father, family man.
Thank God for men like Steve. Rest In Peace, my friend.
