Brian M. Kleinhen, 47, of Glastonbury, died tragically Saturday July 7, 2018 in a motorcycle accident. Born January 20, 1971 in Hartford son of David and Virginia (Dinneen) Kleinhen of Glastonbury, he had lived most of his life in Glastonbury. Brian worked as the Human Resources Payroll Systems Specialist at UConn Health. Brian was a graduate of Xavier High School and CCSU and was an avid fisherman. Brian was a respected member of the UConn Health community for twenty-three years. His dedication and commitment has been as integral part of the human resources team. Brian was known to many as “Mr. Kronos” through his work in new employee orientation, timecard approval, and setup. His co-workers and friends will sorely miss his wonderful sense of humor and quick wit. A consummate professional, he was a hard worker, reliable and sought after for his expertise. Brian was an extremely proud father of four. Besides his parents he is survived by his wife Sharon (Kavanah) Kleinhen, his 4 children, Juliana, Nicole, Marcus and Vanessa, his brother Dr. Ian Kleinhen and his wife Jennifer of South Windsor, his mother-in-law Nancy Pare and her husband Michael of Southington, his wife’s grandmother Anna Wichick of Southington, his nieces and nephews, Reilly, Chris, Garrett, Nick and Ailish Kleinhen and his Labradoddle Murphy. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday July 14 at 10am in St. Augustine Church, 55 Hopewell Rd., South Glastonbury. Burial will follow in Green Cemetery, Glastonbury.
