Dear family of Francis, I was sorry to see that a great man had passed. I had the pleasure of meeting him during an acute illness about 10 years ago. He greeted me with a smile and accepted life on life's terms. A man's life can be measured not by how long he lives but by the good done during our brief tenure on the planet. I'll remember Fran as someone who always made me smile whenever I saw him. It was an honor to know him and I hope others learn from how he lived his life...he always had a kind word, a funny story and knew how to treat people right. He will be missed!!

Donna, Sean and Brandon, I am so sorry to hear about Dad, South Glastonbury just won’t be the same without him a little quieter maybe, as he would tell me all the time “this bank is nice and quiet when you’re not here.” I know that wasn’t how he felt he loved my loud mouth as I loved his.
