I was saddened to hear of the passing of one of my favorite high school teachers, Mr. Wild.

My deepest sympathy to Pete's family on the passing of this wonderful man. I had the pleasure of working with him at GHS for many years while I served as a school counselor. We co-advised the GHS Student Council for many years and I'll always treasure those shared experiences. He was a very special guy and I am so blessed to have known and worked with him.

Mr. Wild was one of the reasons I pursued teaching after graduating in 1994. His passion for his chosen field always shone through, and his tendancy to think outside the box (plus his awesome shirts) will always remain with me. My sincere condolences on your loss.

What a shock it was to see this in the paper! Mr. Wild was an awesome teacher and person! He was always great. In class or out he stands out as one of the best teachers I ever had. I went to college and was a history major because of teachers like him.
Loved this man.
So very deeply sorry for your family's loss. God speed Mr. Wild. You are in our hearts and minds forever.

So sorry to hear of this. Lisa and my sister, Lynn, were friends for a long time. Mr. Wild was such an excellent, dedicated and fair-minded teacher with a real interest not just in passing on knowledge, but in his students actually learning. He really benefited my life

Mr Wild was THAT teacher, THAT man that stood out from all others. He is remembered so fondly as the man that protected the downtrodden, or the bullied. He had students' back. His connection with all students was beautiful. He loved what he did, loved students and we thank him for that service---what an honor that Glastonbury could call himL one of their own. Condolences to Mr Wilds family.

Lisa and family,
So sorry to hear of your fathers passing. He was a great teacher and was also my student council advisor. I just happened to find a letter of recommendation the other day that he wrote for me for college. Glastonbury High school was very fortunate to have him for so many years.
Sincerely,
Bill DiNeno
