Tom, I am so sorry for your loss. Many in our profession think it is somehow easier for us and less impactful on us because we're in the field. How untrue that is especially when we lose a parent. I will keep you and your family in my prayers as words are never enough and ring hollow in our empty hearts when such an integral part of our lives, for our entire life, is no longer there. You are both old enough to have come to know her well, a blessing so often denied grandchildren, who are left only a vague memory of the dear deceased family elders.
