She will always have a special place in my heart and I was saddened to hear of her passing. Personally, she was like another grandmother to me. Growing up, she was always around on Maplewood Ave and at almost every family function. She was family. After I got married, my wife (Lamontange) had the opportunity to meet her and immediately fell in love with her. Her French accent reminded her of her grandmother who she had lost. I am glad she had a full loved filled life and I hope she is in a better place. My thoughts and prayers are with her family and hope these words help!!!

Hello I spent a lot of important time at your house. Andy & I were like brothers. I
Remember your mother’s French accent very well. I am reminded of the loss of Andy. We had fun and we were happy. We were safe. Our values that we hold true are the ones that we learned over our life time. Your mother was our role model and teacher. She had the respect of everyone on maple wood avenue. I wish I could of spent more time at your home and with your family. It is sad to lose such warm mother. But it was a life well lived. Let me know if l can assist you in anyway. For those who do not know me, I am a lawyer. So if you got legal question. Just call me. These days I have foot in Connecticut and Colorado. When you turn on the news, one realizes how blessed we were to live on maplewood Avenue. Our parents hand us our road map or guide to our lives. Then it up to us. You would be hard pressed to find anyone who did not believe that your mother was the
Best. Take care joe Fennessy

I have so many fond memories of Mrs. Johnson. I lived two houses from the Majors and spent many wonderful times in her home growing up. Christmas in her home was filled with laughter and singing and oh those peacan tarts! One memory was her letting us play dress up in her daughters gowns. She and the Majors are close to my heart as they were and will always be an extension of my family. Rest In Peace Mrs. Johnson - you were loved by many and will not be forgotten for your love and kindness (and patience with all us kids). With warm regards, Janet

What a lovely lady she was...always had a smile for you and her sense of humor put a smile on our faces. She was a joy to visit with. There will always be a special place in our hearts for her. We are so sorry for your loss.
