This message is very late in coming to you.....but, then, I just found out, accidentally, that Mimi passed away several months ago.
I am her first cousin on her father's side. My mother was her father's sister, Aunt Bootsie who she adored. He was the oldest of 5 siblings and my mother was the youngest.
About 3-4 years ago we saw each other for a few hours. My brother, who has since died, was visiting me in Sarasota.....I contacted Mimi and we met in Lakeland at a restaurant. I knew of her long health history and she then said she had heart issues.
She lived an exciting, eventful life and had a wonderful family. I extend my condolences to your entire family and share your loss.

I met Mim ( and her daugther Leanne ) many years ago , doing a fair in Fortunes Rocks.
I was in admiration with her watercolors.
I am doing watercolor now and it is part because of her......
Thank you Mim!
I will miss you a lot...
My condoleances to the family

My deepest sympathy to Mim’s many family members on the loss of my wonderful friend. She was a lady I respected so much for her resilience, intelligence and quiet courage. I would like to especially send deep thanks to her son, David - who we Florida friends saw frequently, for all his care through the years as we saw Mim begin to fail
Blessings to you all
