Obituary of Lori A. Mulryan
Lori A. (Bala) Mulryan, 57, of Glastonbury, beloved wife of Kevin J. Mulryan, died Thursday October 25, 2018 at home surrounded by her family after a courageous battle with Glioblastoma. Born December 27, 1960 in Hartford, daughter of the late Edmond and Florence (Ostrowski) Bala, she was raised in Newington and had lived in Glastonbury since 1988. Lori was a Project Manager for Aetna Insurance Co. She was a graduate of Newington High School and CCSU and was a volunteer for the Hole in the Wall Gang Camp. Besides her husband she is survived by three children, Colin Mulryan and his wife Kelly of Glastonbury, Sean Mulryan of Brooklyn, NY, Ashley Mulryan of Glastonbury, two sisters Debbie and Skip Maxfield of Glastonbury, Gayle and Steve Whitt of Ohio, her brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Nancy and Mark McNally of Rocky Hill, Tom and Tara Mulryan and Dan Mulryan and Maureen Pollard of Glastonbury and several nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday Oct. 29 at 11am in St. Paul Church, 2577 Main St., Glastonbury(please meet directly at church). Burial in Holy Cross Cemetery will be private. Friends may call at the Mulryan Funeral Home, 725 Hebron Ave., Glastonbury on Sunday Oct. 28 from 2:00 to5:00pm. In lieu of flowers, gifts may be made in memory of Lori to support Dr. David Reardon’s Research Fund at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, P.O. Box 849168, Boston, MA 02284.
