Obituary of Mary Orsini

Mary A. (Pardo) Orsini, 101, of Glastonbury, formerly of East Hartford, wife of the late Luke J. Orsini, died Wednesday September 26, 2012 at Salmon Brook Nursing Home. Born February 12, 1911 in Hartford, daughter of the late Rocco and Rosario (Rago) Pardo she had lived in East Hartford most of her life before moving to Glastonbury. Mary was an accomplished knitter and had taught many people how to knit including many at the Herbert T. Clark House. She loved bingo and had played right up until this past Saturday. She was a member of the North End Seniors Club in East Hartford and had worked as a young woman for Beatrice Fox Auerbach. Mary is survived by a son Joseph Orsini and his wife Patricia of South Glastonbury, 2 daughters Elizabeth Tuleja and her husband Donald of South Windsor, Lucille Farmer of Manchester, 10 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
