Obituary of Virginia E. Pulito
Virginia E. (Fowler) Pulito, 96, of Glastonbury, passed away peacefully on Sunday, surrounded by her family. She was the widow of Alfred J. Pulito.
Born in Hartford, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Grace (Barrett) Fowler.
Virginia worked for Aetna, retiring in 1968 and was a Communicant of St. Augustine’s Church, South Glastonbury.
She survived by her two sons and daughters-in-law, Robert and Heather Pulito of Glastonbury, Richard and Cindy Pulito of Minneapolis, her daughter and son-in-law Janet and William Pauluh of Glastonbury, six grandchildren; Keith, Michael, and Kathryn Pulito, Seth, Micah and Zachary Turman, six great grandchildren; Ayden, Lucas, Tully, Zanna, Berit and Haakon, and several nieces and nephews. Virginia was predeceased by her brother Richard E. Fowler.
The family would like to thank Dr. Morris Papernik and Dr. Danny Korkmaz for the extraordinary care that they gave to Virginia and her family.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday at 10:00 am at St. Paul Church, 2577 Main St., Glastonbury(please meet directly at church). Burial will be in Green Cemetery. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 260 Cochituate Road #200, Framingham, Massachusetts, 01701.
