So sorry I missed the service. I just saw a picture on Facebook that gave me a clue. I'll be thinking of you all. It was such a pleasure to know Gene. He will certainly be missed. I'm glad to have so many memories. Sue

My wife and I send our condolences and sympathy to the Casale family. Gene was a long time friend and fellow bird dog fancier that was admired by all of the bird dog fraternity. His presence will be sadly missed but not forgotten.

Just learned of Gene's passing and my condolences to all of the family. He was a great person, kind and gentle. He and my Dad Truman made many trips south in the winter, taking in the trials.
Also enjoyed seeing him at the New England Air Museum in 2016, where he lived a bit of his past with our B25 and A26 which he flew.
My prayers are with you all.

I am so sorry and saddened to hear of Gene’s passing. Always remember the wonderful memories I made as the “babysitter” and neighbor. He was a kind and generous man who will be missed by many.

Gene was a living legend to all of us who are apart of the Flaherty Field Trial Area community. Always enjoyed conversation with him, especially his sense of humor. We will miss him and always remember him.My field trial dog is presently in Pinewood, SC at Gene's winter grounds for his 6th straight year where he trained his 1st season in Gene's presence. He will always carry a special place in my heart.
Regret being out of town, and not able to attend.
