I'm so sorry for you loss. Mark will be remembered as the first friendly face we met at Glastonbury Swim. There's a saying that it takes a village to raise a child, and he played a positive and supportive role in my son's development, not only as a swimmer but as a person. He was a great coach and will be missed tremendously.

My condolences on your loss. My younger siblings knew Mark, and I eat with his mother at the senior center. In the old days I ate at the old Corner Store which his father owned; and my grandmother (Jennie Jacomini worked there), and I live on Hopewell, just up the street from there. Again, my condolences. I was so sorry to hear of Marks passing. He was so important to our family. He taught each one of my children how to swim and coached my eldest for years. We all loved him for his patience and tuteledge. My children loved him and for good reason. Two of my children came to Mark wanting to swim and were encumbered by some special needs of their own. I will be forever grateful for his patience and steady commitment to their needs. The community has lost a great leader and servant. He will be missed. My prayers are with you.
