To the Bean family, I am so very sorry for the loss of such a terrific lady. I have such wonderful memories of your mom, mostly at Glastonbury Hills, helping out during swim meets and eating lunch together on the hill after practice. I honestly don't ever remember your mom having anything but a smile on her face; she never had a harsh or unkind word toward anyone, and was always ready with her contagious laugh. I'm sure If I dug out my box of swimming ribbons, I'm sure most of them have your Mom's handwriting on them! She loved life and family, and leaves behind a beautiful family. I'm thinking of you all and your mom. Much love, Sue

It's been many years since I last saw or spoke with Sue but I have many wonderful memories of her and her family. I was the primary babysitter for David, Kristin and Gretchen for many years and a mother's helper, spending many days and evenings in the Bean household on Overlook Road, helping out at birthday parties and shopping with Sue then having lunch at Lord and Taylor. Sue became a very dear friend, mentor and someone I truly looked up to in my very formative teens. She was a wonderful person and I'm sure she will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

Bob,David, Kristin and Gretchen, What a wonderful lady and what a great loss. I remember the great memories of our great next door neighbors on Tall Timbers Lane.The many Christmas Eves opening presents at "Bean Station" were amazing. But most of all I remember that kind, generous lady that I and my children had the privilege to know for all these years. May God comfort you in your loss. You all remain in my thoughts and prayers
