It is with my deepest sympathies and condolences that I read this news . During all of my career in aerospace , The community at IAE was very very close and Frank was a very special part of it to me. Not only did Frank and I spend an inordinate amount of time together, either in the office, on the road or on the phone, but I’d like to consider that we were more than colleagues but good friends who frequently counted on each other. Life is a journey and while we who Frank has left behind continue our individual adventure with only the itinerary we currently have in hand, I feel privileged to have spent some of mine with Frank. The memories of our time together enrich my life. My thoughts and prayers go out to his wife and family. Please know that a wry smile touches my face when I think of our adventures together. With fond memories. Peter Turner

So sad to hear of Franks death. He was such a good friend as well as great team member at work, especially during our years together at IAE. Many great memories both work and football(soccer!) related. Jane and I will always have fond memories of who was one of the most personable characters we have known.
Our sympathies go out to all the family at this time.

I was so sad to hear of Franks death. I was introduced to Frank by friends who were also from England.
He became my neighbor and friend. He had an amazing sense of humor. He was kind, caring, and thoughtful. I remember when he got married and had his first daughter he was so happy his whole face
lite up. We both moved and lost touch but he will be missed by all who knew him. My thoughts and prayers are with his family at his time.
My Condolences,
Kathy

Frank was one of the finest people I worked with at P&W. Always a gentleman, always in good spirits and very reliable and accomplished. I would run into Frank from time to time in Glastonbury and, even after he was ill, he was upbeat and positive. Frank inevitably lifted my spirits when I saw him. He was very special.

I was saddened to see Frank’s obituary in today’s paper.
I worked with Frank for a number of years at International Aero Engines.Frank was a successful Sales Mgr and I was in the Marketing group supporting his efforts. He was a pleasure to work with. He had such a nice easy, smooth way about him, always with a quick smile. In the past years I would bump into Frank around town and he told me of his incurable condition.
Unfortunately I will not be able to attend the funeral services. I just wanted to send a note to let his daughters and family know that he was a sharp Engineer and Sales Mgr and a great guy and a pleasure to work with.
Please accept my sincere condolences.

To all of Frank's family
I send you my sincere condolences on your sad loss. Frank was a lovely guy, he always had a smile and a kind word when we met. We shared a love of the same soccer team and laughed together at the ups and downs they faced. I remember him getting a picture taken with the FA Cup in 1997 and proudly displaying it on his desk - such a huge, happy grin on his face. I always enjoyed my times with him and will be sad not to be able to share times with him again. A great bloke who will be sorely missed.

I would like to pass my heartfelt condolences to all the members of the Rodrigues family for their loss. Franklin was a former classmate of mine at Gunnersbury Catholic for Boys back in the 1970s but I still remember him for his lovely, laidback character which he displayed even at such a young age. He will be missed. Bron.
