Obituary of Phillip Michael Goodwill
Phillip Goodwill left us on Monday, November 11, 2019 with his family, friends and best girl Miley by his side.
Phil was famous for his infectious laugh and wicked sense of humor. He mastered all things mechanical and complicated. There was nothing he couldn't fix or build. He lovingly instructed his friends in the proper maintenance of their tools and equipment. He was a proud member of Local 478 Union of Operating Engineers. A life long resident of Glastonbury, Phil formed friendships that will out last time, friendships that kept him going. Phil leaves his Dolly, his sister Deeper, a brother Michael, his sister Michelle, nieces Emery and Ashley, nephews Kelley and Kayden and his ever present Uncle Barry. He was the son of the late Jack Stevenson Goodwill and Carole (Grzymko) Goodwill. Eternal gratitude to our team of angels who were there for us during the week we were saying goodbye. Special thanks to his hospice nurses Vilma and Madelyn.
A celebration of his life will be held on Sunday, December 15, 2019 at 2:00 pm at Mulryan Funeral Home, 725 Hebron Ave., Glastonbury. Friends may visit on Sunday from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm at the funeral home. Family and friends that would like to share a funny story of Phil are invited to do so during the service. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the charitable organization Tunnel to Towers www.tunnel2towers.org.
