Obituary of Doris Rizzo

Doris C. Rizzo, 75, of Glastonbury, died Sunday November 18, 2012 at home. Born March 30, 1937 in Hartford she had lived in Glastonbury for the past 44 years. Doris was a communicant of St. Augustine Church and a member of the altar guild. Doris is survived by 2 daughters and sons-in-law Lisa (Rizzo) and Cary Gagnon of South Glastonbury, Gina (Rizzo) and James Galvin, Jr. of South Windsor, her twin sister Ruth LaFontaine of NH, her grandchildren Cameron, Aidan and Isabella Gagnon, James III, Jordan, Julia and Jillian Galvin, her nephews, Rodney and Harold LaFontaine, her "adopted" grandchildren. Daniel and Caroline Correia, her step son Albert Rizzo, III of CA. and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her beloved son Anthony Rizzo, and her nephew Gregory LaFontaine. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday Nov. 21 at 10am in St. Augustine Church, 55 Hopewell Rd., South Glastonbury. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
