Obituary of Thomas Mullin
Thomas C. Mullin, 81, of Glastonbury, passed away on Wednesday November 21, 2012 at Salmon Brook Center. He was born September 18, 1931 in Ballindine, County Mayo, Ireland. Before coming to the United States, Tom worked as a coal miner in England. He worked for G. Fox & Company for years and also for the MDC before opening his own business in the Hartford and West Hartford areas, T&M Landscaping. He enjoyed entertaining and playing his accordion and singing Irish songs. He was predeceased by his loving wife, Ellen (McAssey) Mullin, his daughter Margaret Mullin and his parents, Patrick and Margaret (Mularkey) Mullin. He is survived by his 3 sons and their wives; Patrick J. and Darlene Mullins, James T. and Susan Mullins, Thomas J. and Cheryl Mullins and three loving grandchildren; Jennifer, Christopher and Madison and many loving nieces and nephews in the US, Ireland and England. The family would like to express a very special thank you to the good friends and staff of the Salmon Brook Center in Glastonbury who took excellent care of our Dad over the years. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday Nov. 24 at 10am in Corpus Christi Church, 581 Silas Deane Highway, Wethersfield. Burial in Rose Hill Memorial Park will be private. Friends may call at the Mulryan Funeral Home, 725 Hebron Ave., Glastonbury on Friday Nov. 23 from 6-8pm. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the CT.
