Dear Gina and Family,
Linda and I are so very sorry for your loss. John was such a wonderful human being and just last year I spoke to him about reconnecting. Sometimes life does get in the way of good friend connections. I even told my son Joey that I had talked to John about him leaving Spencer and going to work at MTU. Joey remembered the times he would teach guitar to Michelle. John was a friend to all and had the best management style of anyone I ever worked with.
The world is a better place because John was here and he has left a legacy we will never forget.

John, the news of your unexpected passing still stuns but your always engaging presence, that "smirk y" smile and your care and concern for those who worked with and for you will not easily pass from our memory. I am fortunate to have known you.

I first had the opportunity to get to know John at a week-long MTU AENA training event and was very impressed with his knowledge, passion, and questioning attitude. After that, John and I would often discuss process improvements. I will miss John's visits to my desk, which frequently occurred after he had a discussion with one of admin members. We would talk about whatever was on our minds.
I offer my deepest condolences to all of John's family and friends. When you think of John, may you fondly remember the happiness, joy and laughter that was shared with him. I will miss him.

I had the privilege to get to know John over the past year, working together. The news of his passing deeply saddened me. John and I spent a lot of time discussing work, having personal conversations, and sharing our life experiences. There was no doubt that John had a passion for his work and creating personal connections. He will be missed.

John was my supervisor in the design group at MTU AENA. I always enjoyed working with John, and found him to be a great leader, great engineer, and overall great person. John liked to talk, and so do I. Many of our work conversations ended with some discussion of music, food, science, politics, and/or John’s overall life experiences. I always had great interactions with John, and was looking forward to many more in the future. John inspired me to rethink retirement from “stop working” to “always do what you love”.
Lastly, my family and I offer our sincerest condolences.

Rest in peace Uncle John. You and Auntie Gina helped me and my family a lot during our most difficult days. I never got a chance to get to know you personally but I know that you are a very kind-hearted person. Thank you for everything. May Jesus, God, and Mary welcome you in heaven.
God bless you Auntie Gina and your family. May the Holy Spirit give all of you strength and hope during these trying times.
