I just found out about Don’s passing. I have so many find memories of spending time with him (and Pat) at the Cape having been their Eastham neighbor for years. Picnics, bike riding, times at CooksBrook beach. My heart is saddened, but my memories are strong and full of love.

My thoughts and prayers are with the Repoli and extended families. Uncle Don was a loving man and father. He was loved and admired as well by all, as he touched the hearts of those who knew him. To me, he was the best uncle as well as a wonderful friend that I will truly miss. I will always love and remember him, especially all the wonderful times we enjoyed together.

To the entire Repoli Family and many friends,
I knew “Mr. Repoli” as a teacher of mine first and foremost, then as an Assistant Principal to my children and finally as a colleague serving on the Board of Education in East Hartford. I always admired his take on situations as they arose and his unending commitment to the community and its children. He was a team player and a great listener!
My condolences and prayers to all! East Hartford was blessed to have him in their midst in whatever capacity he held but more importantly as a true friend to all that crossed his path!
God Bless you Don, until we meet again!
Sincerely,
Barbara Cotoia (Sirois)

I have enduring memories of uncle Don; thinking of all the laughter and happiness he shared. I am sorry for this great loss, and pray for his entire family. Admiration for who he was is all I can express. Wish we all can live the example he set for us.

So sorry to read of the passing of Don. He was a true East Hartford Legend in many ways. I can go back to when he and Red Leonard supervised the Mayberry Gym Basketball where I virtually spent all of my spare time, and got to really admire Don. He was an inspiration to many and helped to shape my life and career in education. his love of community and education was only surpassed by his love of family - he was a role model to all of us and will be truly missed as will his smile and never ending stories.
