Obituary of Albert Dahl, Jr.

Albert Dahl Jr., 80, beloved husband and father, passed away on April 15, 2020 due to complications from COVID-19. He was born in Brooklyn, NY on September 13, 1939 and grew up in Fairhaven, MA. He spent the last 42 years residing in Glastonbury, CT. He was predeceased by his sister, Anna James. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Connie (Akerley) Dahl of Glastonbury, his sister Thelma Bold of Fairhaven, MA and his son Eric M. Dahl of East Hartford. He enlisted in the Air Force after high school and was stationed in various locations. After his military service, he attended UMass and graduated in 1969. He moved to Connecticut shortly thereafter to work at Pratt & Whitney. He would later start his own business doing what he loved, selling hobby supplies. He was a devoted husband, a great father, and a good man. Services will be held at a future time to be determined.
