Glen Schultz - Formerly of Wethersfield, CT.
Just now seeing this.
This takes me so far back.
Mid 70's she was a secretary at Wethersfield Ave Foreign Car Service where I was a young mechanic just a year older.
Her energy was bright, humor and wit always on time, and a big heart.
So sorry for all of you obviously still missing her.

I am heartbroken ... happened to be in Glastonbury tonight and drove past The Gallery...it was dark and I wanted a closer view of the building ... my heart sank upon reading the message by the front door "The Gallery...in loving memory of Pam". Such a wonderful person - tremendous business woman, invaluable friend. Such wonderful memories working for Pam ,Kim and Julie with Betsy Klietz, Midge, Syd...she will be missed greatly. Until we meet again, my friend...soar with the angels, Pam.

While popping a quiche into the oven this morning, I am recalling that Pam made this very quiche for my sister and I when we rented from her and Ed on Williams Street West. We told Pam how good the quiche was, and wouldn't you know, a couple of weeks later she gifted my sister and I each a copy of the cookbook that contained the recipe. I still cherish it to this day. It's memories like this that still take my breath away when I realize she is no longer with us. Thinking of you regularly Pam and cherishing the memories I have with you. I wish I had taken the time to have made more.

I can write without hesitation that Pam gifted me my first professional confidence boost. I was not yet 21 years old when Pam entrusted me with managing “The Gallery” on Sunday nights. I remember feeling so honored and capable. In a world of M&M’s, Pam was a Belgian chocolate. Always putting others first and seeking no recognition whatever.
Sincerely,
Ralph Ward

Pam, gave me my first real culinary job after I graduated from Johnson and Wales in 1985, she and her family were always supportive of everything I did and I would not have become the person I am today without the years I spent at the Gallery. I started in the salad station and worked my way up to banquet cook. Thank you for all the wonderful memories Kathy Cowles, Blackburn Gallery employee from1985-1988

Pam, you are irreplaceable. So many of us will miss you in so many ways. I'll always remember those times when a teenage me would come for Saturday & Sunday morning events ( and let's not forget SINGLES night! ) and follow your leadership to ensure every single party at the Gallery was a success. I know how much you meant to everyone who interacted with you and my thoughts and prayers go out especially to your sisters and to your nephews & nieces who you truly treated like your own children.

I worked at the Gallery along with several classmates and was grateful to have the opportunity to learn how to serve at weddings and events which helped to keep me employed throughout college. Pam was always willing to give those of us with no experience a chance to learn. (Including giving a job to my brother who worked the brunch carving station. This was a great source of amusement to my family as, up until that point, my mother had always cut his meat.) I also remember her being very kind to me when I had a bad day.
I hope all of her family can endure the loss of her presence in their lives. Sending love. ❤️ Jen (Faustman) Shiman

So sad hearing of Pam's passing. She ran a top notch operation at The Gallery. With various activities and events planned there and most coming off without a hitch, is simply an amazing feat. PLUS, the Sunday Night Singles' Dances that attracted folks from all over the state and other states as well....
Thank you Pam.....and now, Rest in peace.......

Kim, Julie, Konnie, I am so sorry to hear about Pam. I had driven by the Gallery, many times and wanted to stop by to say hello; as I knew I was always welcome. but never did. Well, maybe I did stop in a few Sunday nights but unfortunately she would be gone by then. I have so many memories of: giving Leon the dishwasher a ride home everynight after work with a bag of food, of feeding her little dog little houres devours meatballs in the office, and swatting a fly became more important than business in her office, Always with a laugh or smile I know of so many, including myself, that owe so much to the life she shared with us. She reminds me of a rose; soft , gentle, beautiful inside and out, and thorns in the right places when protecting her family and business. So happy to have known her. So sad she is gone.
My heart goes out to you,
Steve Coates

I am so sorry for your loss. I have so many wonderful memories of Pam. I spent the majority of my entire teenage years at the McCue house with Konnie and friends in the basement hanging out and playing pool. Almost all my memories include coming into the kitchen and finding the McCue women sitting at the kitchen table drinking coffee or iced coffee and painting their nails. There was always a huge array of nail polish colors to pick from and the dog(s) always had nail polish applied and fancy collars. Pam always made me feel like I mattered and always had a job available to me if I wanted or needed it. Pam gave me my first perfume, Windsong, I felt so special that she remembered me on my birthday. She also bought me my 1st First Class airplane ticket when we vacationed with her in Florida. Konnie and I almost missed the flight -remember the good ole days when you could arrive at the airport 15 minutes before your flight? We were there in time we just went to wrong gate. We barely made the flight and I still believe Pam made them hold the flight for us, it was a wonderful trip. Pam, to me, was/is the epiitome of a woman I admire and strive to be, strong, independent, confident, perfect hair, perfect nails, always beautiful, always elegant. God Bless and Prayers.

Pam made all those around her feel like family. Our family is forever grateful for her ❤ and caring gestures. Rest in peace and give Dr. Bill a big hug from us. Ruthie. Elaine, Nancy. Kathi, and Ben
